3 foods that are awesome for singers!

3 tips on foods for the voice!

1. Manuka honey! Its AMAZING!!! Darryl and I have a spoonful every day….. Don’t ever put it in hot water or all the goodness will be destroyed. If your feeling sick you can get greater strengths to knock that bug outta you! It has great antibacterial properties. Please read the following article:

2.  Hydrating foods: Staying hydrated in number 1 to a healthy voice! While drinking lots of water and non caffeinated tea is essential, you can also stay hydrated through the foods you eat. Fruits and Veg high in water are great so celery, apples, cucumbers, grapes etc. 

3. Always eat a healthy meal before singing consisting of lean meat, chicken, fruit and veg. Singing can be just as big of a workout as exercising so singing on an empty stomach is not good!
